About the Founder: Zoltan Kiss, Ph.D. had an extensive academic research career before founding and leading Zoltan Labs on a full-time basis. Until 2004, he was Professor and Section Leader at the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, he was a Senior Investigator at the National Cancer Institute (4 years) and held various faculty positions at the Emory University (2 years), the University of Connecticut (16 months), and the Institute of Biochemistry at the University of Szeged, Hungary, (2 years). Earlier, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at INSERM-99, Henri Mondor Hospital, Crèteil, Paris (18 months), then at the College the France, Paris (2 months), and the Institute of Biochemistry, the Biological Research Center, Szeged, Hungary (3 years). Dr. Kiss holds a Ph.D. degree from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His research so far resulted in 114 peer-reviewed articles and 22 issued international patents all relating to the regulation of survival, mitogenesis, and metabolism in normal and diseased cells/tissues with a focus on disease treatments.
